Address: Summary of Incident: KPD officers investigated a collision involving a Kamiakin High School student who was crossing the crosswalk on Edison near the Kamiakin High School football field. Witnesses reported that the vehicle, a light blue Ford Mustang, had been traveling at a high rate of speed and was unable to stop for the pedestrian. The driver, also a juvenile, was cited for reckless driving, which is a criminal violation. The victim was treated at the scene by Kennewick Paramedics for minor injuries and released to his parents.
