Address: Summary of Incident: On 7-26-16 at about 2103hrs officer responded to the area of 27th Avenue and the highway for a robbery that had just occurred. The suspect, Joshua Shelton had removed items from the victim’s vehicle then threatened to stab the victim when he was confronted. Joshua then fled eastbound. He was located by officers who arrived a short time later. Although Joshua attempted to hide in some nearby shrubbery, he was taken into custody after he complied with officer’s commands. The victim’s items were located in the shrubbery where Joshua had been hiding. Joshua was positively identified by the victim as the male who threatened to stab him. The items that had been taken were returned to the victim. No one was injured in this incident.
