KALISPELL 53°F 11°C MODERATE RAIN Authorities ID Pedestrian Killed in Kalispell Traffic Collision Fatality on Center Street BY BEACON STAFF DEC 22, 2011 LATEST HEADLINES, NEWS & FEATURES Authorities have identified the elderly Kalispell woman who died in a collision with a Suburban on Thursday afternoon at the intersection of West Center Street and Second Avenue West. Luella Scott, 94, was attempting to cross West Center Street when she was struck by the vehicle, according to Sheriff Chuck Curry. She died of traumatic injuries sustained in the crash. Kalispell Police Chief Roger Nasset said the adult male driver has been “very cooperative” throughout the investigation and has been released without charges, pending test results.
