Construction is under way now on a parking lot to the north. Work on a 5,100-square-• foot addition to the exist- ing building wifi start June 1, King said. The addition wifi expand the building about 24 feet to the north, with a basement, a main level and an upper floor. Each floor of the exist ing building wifi be remodeled, drive-through lanes will be expanded from three to four, and entrance and exits to the property wifi jie reconfig ured. - “It’s very exciting,” King said. The contractor on the $2.8 million project is Hammerquist Casalegno, the architect is CTA and all subcontractors are local, King said. - According to. Wildlife chief outlines griz delisting plan HELENA (AP) — The head of Montana’s wild life agency says federal officials wifi seek to lift federal protections from some threatened grizzly bears in the Northern Rockies in the next two years. Montana Fish Wild life and Parks direc tor Jeff Hagener said Thursday he expects the U.S Fish and Wild life Service to propose rules that could remove two populations of griz zlies from the Endan gered Species list. He says one could lift protections for bears in and around Yellow stone Park in 2015. The other would be for griz zlies in the Northern Continental Divide by 2016. Hagener says esti mates show about 740 grizzly bears live in and around Yellow stone, while about 1,000 live in the Northern Continental Divide region.
