KALISPELL FIRE DEPARTMENT “Protecting our community with the highest level of professionalism.” Dave Dedman – Fire Chief Jon Campbell – Assistant Fire Chief Cec Lee – Executive Secretary PO Box 1997 312 First Avenue East Kalispell, Montana 59901 Phone: (406) 758-7760 FAX: (406) 758-7777 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE On 3/23/2018 at 1:29 PM the Kalispell Fire Department was dispatched to a reported confirmed structure fire located at 150 Greenbriar Dr. Upon arrival crews found light smoke visible from a bedroom window. The fire was extinguished readily with a direct fire attack. The investigation found the fire was accidental and caused by smoking materials which ignited a mattress in the bedroom or origin. There are no reported estimates of fire loss at this time. No injuries have been reported from this incident. Automatic aid was received from Evergreen Fire Department, West Valley Fire Department, Kalispell Police Department, Flathead Electric and Northwest Energy.
