GAS STATIONS What’s the problem? Pollutants from gas stations (including gasoline, oil, grease, automo- tive fluids, and trash) can flow into storm drains due to rain or snow melt and spills. Local ordinance prohibits these pollutants from en- tering the storm system. You can prevent polluted water from leaving the site and entering storm drains. Water that enters storm drains is not treated or cleaned before entering our rivers.
