Driveway construction within the City right-of-way must be performed by a bonded and insured contractor. Prior to driveway construction, the contractor must obtain an Excavation Permit from the Public Works Office located at 201 1st Ave. East, Kalispell, MT 59901. An insurance certificate and bond for the contractor must be on file with the Public Works Department before an Excavation Permit can be issued.
