By Jack Ginsburg Glacier Rail Park construction to close Evergreen roads for months Posted: Nov 28, 2017 9:41 AM MST Updated: Nov 28, 2017 9:41 AM MST KALISPELL - The Glacier Rail Park project that broke ground on Aug. 22 is now in full swing and there are now road closures in place due to construction. Monday marked the ᫈rst day that a number of roads in Evergreen will be shut down for a signi᫈cant amount of time due to the work at the rail park site. The road closures are expected to last until June 30. Oregon Lane, Flathead Drive and Montclair Lane are three of the roads that will be closed for the eight months. A temporary road will be built for the subdivision to the north of Flathead Drive to help residents access US Highway 2 during the construction period. There are currently aggers set up at the intersection of Montclair and the rail park to help cars navigate around the construction. Contracting company LHC nites that residents will still have access to their homes from alternate routes.
