Planners are applying for a federal grant to possibly expand the southern half of the bypass. AA ---PAGE BREAK--- If Kalispell gets the grant money, workers could expand the stretch to 4 lanes, and build new interchanges and overpasses. City, county and state officials want your opinions on what should be done. They are holding public hearings today at the Kalispell Chamber of Commerce Conference Room. One starts at 11:00 a.m. The second gets underway at 7:00 p.m.
