Contractor Registration Exemptions I am not acting with the intent to evade the Contractor Registration requirement and I am exempt from having to register as a contractor according to the following section(s) of Idaho Code: See Idaho Code section 54-5205 for a full description of the below items. 54-5205(2)(a) - (Employee of Licensed or Exempt Person; or Not being paid as work is part of education or charity.) 54-5205(2)(b) - (Government Exemption) 54-5205(2)(c) - (Public Utility - Own Business) 54-5205(2)(d) - (Mining/Drilling Issue) 54-5205(2)(e) - (Delivery/supplier Only) 54-5205(2)(f) - (Less than $2000, cannot be part of a larger project.) 54-5205(2)(g) - (Farm Exemption) 54-5205(2)(h) - (Agricultural Exemption, see IC 39-4116) 54-5205(2)(i) - (Water Districts) 54-5205(2)(j) - (Rural District/Fire Prevention) 54-5205(2)(k) - (Owner of Property, I do not intend on selling the property during construction or 12 months after completion.) 54-5205(2)(l) - (Owner of Property, I acknowledge that I do not intend on selling the property and if I do it is because I have lived in the property for 12 months prior to the sale.) 54-5205(2)(m) - (Owner or Lessee with Consent of Owner - Perform the Work) 54-5205(2)(n) - (Minor Repairs by or with the help of a Licensed Real Estate Agent) 54-5205(2)(o) - (Foresting or Harvesting Exemption) 54-5205(2)(p) - (Renter or Lessee – with permission of owner) 54-5205(2)(q) - (Chemical Company Exemption) 54-5205(2)(r) - (Modular Home Construction to be installed outside of Idaho, see also IC 39-4301)
