CITY OF JEROME PLANNING & ZONING Ida Clark, City Planner 152 East Ave A [PHONE REDACTED] x 140 [EMAIL REDACTED] NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Wednesday, the 23rd day of July 2025, at the hour of 7:00 p.m., a public hearing will be held before the City of Jerome Planning and Zoning Commission at City of Jerome Council Chambers, 100 East Avenue A, Jerome, Idaho to consider AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF JEROME, IDAHO, AMENDING JEROME MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 17.14.010 TO INCLUDE ACCESSORY DWELLING UNIT IN THE SCHEDULE OF DISTRICT REGULATIONS; UPDATING SECTION 17.03 RULES AND DEFINITIONS FOR ACCESSORY USE OR STRUCTURE AND INCLUDING THE DEFINITION IN 17.03.180 TO INCLUDE ACCESSORY DWELLING UNIT; AMENDING SECTION 17.18.020 SUPPLEMENTAL GENERAL PROVISIONS TO INCLUDE STANDARDS FOR ACCESSORY DWELLING UNIT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. All interested persons shall have an opportunity to be heard. Please consider joining the meeting or submitting written comment. We strongly encourage written comment be postmarked by July 16th, 2025, or physically submitted by noon July 18th, 2025.
