You will be responsible for the exercise and medical care of the dog(s). 2. You understand that dogs can destroy property, dig holes, chew things etc., and accept that this might happen without seeking retribution from the City of Jerome or the City of Jerome Animal Shelter. 3. You are willing to supervise your children at all times with the dog to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the child AND the dog(s). 4. You are ready and willing to help in the promotion of the dog(s) for the purpose of the dog(s) adoption into a ‘forever home’ and all other responsibilities and contingencies that may arise while caring for the dog(s) i.e. adoption photographs, bringing the dog to their scheduled meet and greets with adopters and so on. 5. You understand that it is ONLY your duty to promote the dog to the public as available for the adoption. You will not accept adoption applications or adoption fees. 6. You understand that dogs in a shelter often come from an unknown background and may have behavior and/or health problems that show up while you are fostering. If this happens, you agree to contact the shelter immediately and if need be, return the animal to the shelter. 7. If at any time you can no longer foster the dog(s) you must give notice the animal shelter staff and agree upon a time in which to return the dogs to the City of Jerome Animal Shelter. 8. You understand that you are not authorized to release the dog(s) into the custody of another person or organization. Please sign stating you have read and understand the terms of agreement.
