CITY OF JEROME PLANNING & ZONING Ida Clark, City Planner 152 East Ave A [PHONE REDACTED] x 140 [EMAIL REDACTED] NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Tuesday, the 25th day of June 2024, at the hour of 7:00 p.m., a public hearing will be held before the City of Jerome Planning and Zoning Commission at City of Jerome City Council Chambers, 100 East Avenue A, Jerome, Idaho to consider a request from the City of Jerome for a Rezone from Residential 2 (R-2) to Public/Semipublic, for the property described as follows: Being a portion of Block A-220 of the Original Jerome Townsite, Jerome County, Idaho, more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the centerline intersection of North Buchanan Street and 10th Avenue East; Thence, along the centerline of said North Buchanan Street, North 00°02’44” West 195.00 feet; Thence, leaving said centerline, North 89°59’03” East 25.00 feet to a point on the East Right-of- Way Boundary of said North Buchanan Street; Thence, along said East Right-of-Way Boundary, North 00°02’44” West 454.91 feet to a point on the North Boundary of said Block A-220; Thence, along said North Boundary, South 89°53’21” East 174.78 feet and being the REAL POINT OF BEGINNING; Thence, leaving said North Boundary, South 00°02’44” East 489.52 feet along a line parallel with said centerline of North Buchanan; Thence, North 89°59’03” East 49.45 feet; Thence, South 00°02’44” East 35.00 feet; Thence, North 89°59’03” East 183.55 feet; Thence, South 00°02’44” East 90.00 feet to a point on the North Right-of-Way Boundary of said 10th Avenue East; Thence, along said North Right-of-Way Boundary, North 89°59’03” East 17.00 feet; Thence, leaving said North Right-of-Way Boundary, North 00°02’44” West 613.97 feet to a point on said North Boundary of Block A-220; Thence, along said North Boundary, North 89°53’21” West 250.00 feet to said REAL POINT OF BEGINNING. more commonly known as the 10th Street Well, Jerome, Idaho, containing approximately 3 acres.
