CITY OF JEROME NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Tuesday, the 16th day of August 2022, at the hour of 5:30 p.m., a public hearing will be held before the Jerome City Council at Jerome Council Chambers, 100 East Avenue A, Jerome, Idaho and live via Zoom meetings to consider a request from Cook Realty, Inc. for approval on a residential final plat for Stauffer Estates Subdivision No. II, Phase II described as a portion of the west half of the Northwest quarter of Section 17, Township 8 South, Range 17 East, Boise Meridian, Jerome County, Idaho. More specifically described as follows: Commencing at the West quarter corner of said Section 17, being marked by an aluminum cap which is at the intersection of North Tiger Drive and 50 North road, and lies South 00°04'30" East a distance of 2639.52 feet from the Northwest corner of said Section 17, being marked by a 5/8" rebar with plastic cap; thence South 89°55'58" East along the Southerly boundary of said West half of the Northwest quarter and also being the centerline of the 50 North Road, a distance of 35.00 feet to the point of intersection with the Easterly right-of-way of said North Tiger Drive; thence North 00°04'30" West along said Easterly right-of-way, a distance of 281.00 feet to the point of beginning of this land description; thence North 00°04'30" West along said Easterly right-of-way, a distance of 966.34 feet to the Southwest corner of Stauffer Estates II Phase I; thence along the Southerly and Easterly boundary of said Stauffer Estates II Phase I the following bearings and distance; North 89°55'30" East a distance of 101.49 feet; South 89°43'34" East a distance of 57.00 feet; North 89°55'30" East a distance of 100.00 feet; North 00°04'30" West a distance of 85.64 feet; South 78°36'18" East a distance of 14.05 feet; North 25°33'31" East a distance of 183.95 feet; North 29°55'30" East a distance of 39.30 feet; North 00°04'30" West a distance of 53.34 feet; South 89°55'30" West a distance of 9.00 feet; North 00°04'30" West a distance of 93.54 feet to the Northeast corner of said Stauffer Estate II Phase I; thence North 89°55'59" East a distance of 915.19 feet to a point on the East boundary of said West half of the Northwest quarter of section 17; thence along said East boundary, South 00°03'39" East a distance of 1398.64 feet; thence South 89°55'58" West a distance of 1277.34 feet to the point of beginning. the above described tract contains 37.776 acres, more or less. All interested persons shall have an opportunity to be heard. The public will have the opportunity to comment in person at the meeting or by submitting written comment. Written comment must be postmarked by August 10, 2022, or physically submitted by August 12, 2022.
