CITY OF JEROME NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Tuesday, the 5th of May 2020, at the hour of 5:30 p.m., a public hearing will be held before the Jerome City Council at City of Jerome Council Chambers, 100 East Avenue A, Jerome, Idaho to consider the following: AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEROME, CREATING TITLE 17 CHAPTER 18.070 LANDSCAPING REQUIREMENTS AND AMENDING TITLE 17 CHAPTER 26.080 SCREENING AND/OR LANDSCAPING, OF THE JEROME MUNICIPAL CODE PROVIDING FOR MINIMAL LANDSCAPING REQUIREMENTS FOR NEW DEVELOPMENT IN VARIOUS ZONES THROUGHOUT THE CITY OF JEROME AND FOR THE LANDSCAPING OF PARKING LOTS WITH MORE THAN 20 PARKING SPACES; FOR A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION OF THIS CHAPTER; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. ALL INTERESTED PERSONS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND, and shall have an opportunity to be heard. Public will have the opportunity to comment at the hearing and written comments are accepted until one week prior to the public hearing.
