STATE OF GEORGIA JEFFERSON COUNTY QUALIFYING FEE NOTICE Pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 21-2-131 the following qualifying fees were set by the Jefferson County Commissioners in the December 10, 2019 meeting: COUNTY COMMISSIONER $ 166.05 DISTRICTS 2 & 4 BOARD OF COMMISSIONER $ 175.28 CHAIRMAN BOARD OF EDUCATION (Nonpartisan) $ 108.00 MEMBER – DISTRICTS 2 & 4 CLERK OF SUPERIOR COURT $ 1,392.25 CORONER $ 103.55 MAGISTRATE JUDGE (Nonpartisan) $ 1,392.25 JUDGE OF PROBATE COURT $ 1.392.25 SHERIFF $ 1,616.40 SOLICITOR GENERAL $ 720.00 STATE COURT JUDGE (Nonpartisan) $ 1,350.00 TAX COMMISSIONER $ 1,392.25 Qualifying for General Primary/Nonpartisan Candidates begins @ 9:00 a.m. on Monday, March 2, 2020 and ends at noon on Friday, March 6, 2020. The General Primary/ Special/ Nonpartisan Election will be held on May 19, 2020 and the General/Special Election will be held on November 3, 2020. For Nonpartisan Candidates, (Board of Education, Magistrate Judge and State Court Judge), qualifying will be held in the lobby of the Jefferson County Board of Elections Office, 415 Green Street, Louisville, Georgia. For Political Party Candidates, qualifying will be held in the Jefferson County Court House, in The Hearing Room (downstairs in the previous office of Tax Commissioner), 202 E.
