STATE OF GEORGIA COUNTY OF JEFFERSON NOTICE OF LETTING OF CONTRACT TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: Notice is hereby given that the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners will let a contract to the most-experienced, responsible, qualified, Bidder for the Courthouse handicap ramp replacement project for the Jefferson County Courthouse which is located at 202 East Broad Street, Louisville, GA. Qualifications, experience, and a Lump Sum Bid shall be submitted to the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners, P.O. Box 658, 217 East Broad Street, Louisville, Georgia 30434, no later than 2:00 p.m., Eastern Daylight Time, Tuesday October 16th, for removal of the existing ramp and replacement and provision of ramps at the street handicap parking. NO CONTACT can be made with the County Administrator, Commissioners or any other Jefferson County personnel. Contacting any individuals with Jefferson County will immediately disqualify any bidder. Access instructions can be requested by sending an email request to [EMAIL REDACTED]. Bidders are responsible for accessing PDF files online and printing and submitting such documents. Additionally, all Bidders are responsible to check the Architect’s FTP Site periodically for any Addenda that have been issued. Bidders shall address all questions regarding the project or documents to [EMAIL REDACTED] No questions will be answered via telephone. Both a Performance and a Payment Bond will be required in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price. Proof of General Liability Insurance and Workman’s Compensation Insurance will be required with The Jefferson County Board of Commissioners listed as an additional insured. Bidders are required to provide a 5% Bid Bond and a completed E-verify document with their bid. The Jefferson County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any technicalities or irregularities and to award the bid based on the highest and best interests of Jefferson County.
