Within 30 days of filing the Arbitration Award, any party who was present at the Arbitration Hearing, either in person or by counsel, may reject the Arbitration Award by strictly complying with the following provisions of Illinois Supreme Court Rule 93. A party who rejects the Arbitration Award must: 1. File a Notice of Rejection with the Clerk of the Circuit Court, together with a certificate of service that the Notice of Rejection has been served on all other parties. 2. Send a copy of the Notice of Rejection to all other parties to the action. 3. Pay the appropriate Rejection Fee to the Clerk of the Circuit Court. Your right to reject the Arbitration Award and proceed to trial expires 30 days after filing of the Arbitration Award. If no party files a timely Notice of Rejection of Award, any party may move the Court to enter judgment on the award. A copy of this notice has been sent by regular mail, postage pre-paid at Paxton/Bloomington, Illinois, addressed to each of the parties appearing, at their last known address or their attorney of record.
