Where Can I Pay My Taxes? The Treasurer’s Office now offers several different options on ways to pay your tax bill. Mail the payment to our office at P.O. Box 2400, Bloomington, IL 61702. Your cancelled check will be your receipt unless you send a self-addressed stamped envelope along with your payment for us to mail a receipt back to you. A mailed payment is considered to be on time as long as it is postmarked on or before the due date. Pay in person at our office located in Room M 101 in the Government Center at 115 E Washington, Bloomington. There will also be an area in the lobby the week that taxes are due where you can pay. Payments can be made at any of the following Banks in McLean County: Commerce Bank Chase PNC Illini Bank Hudson Soy Capital Bank Regions Bank 1st State Bank Bloomington FreeStar Flanagan State Bank Citizens Bank of Chatsworth Anchor State Bank Central Illinois Bank Heartland Bank & Trust State Bank of Graymont Peoples Bank of Colfax Morton Community Bank First Security Bank Farmer City State Bank 1st Mid-Illinois Bank & Trust Atlanta National Bank Dewey State Bank First State Bank First Farmers Bank Mid-Illini Credit Union Busey Bank Automatic Withdrawal. This option allows us to automatically deduct your tax payment from the bank account of your choice on the due date. You will always receive a bill to let you know the amount of your payment. We will continue to withdraw your payments from your account on the due date each year until we have written notification from you to stop. Your bank statement will serve as your receipt. In order to sign up for automatic withdrawal fill out the form on the back of your tax bill or print this form and mail into our office along with a voided check. You will receive written confirmation that we have received your information. Credit Card. Payment can be made with a credit card by logging on to www.mcleancountyil.gov/tax. A fee applies for this service. Drop box. Pay by leaving a check in the drop box located on north side of the East street entrance to the Government Center located at 115 E Washington, Bloomington.
