Important Information: The back of the bill contains information regarding paying your taxes. Township: The area the property is located in. Tax Code: This number is used to identify the taxing districts that your tax dollars are distributed to. Property Use Code: Identifies the type of property, such as Improved Lots, Farmland, Commercial, etc. Penalties: Explanation of interest and penalties added for delinquent payments. Duplicate: Indicates that this is a duplicate copy of the tax bill. First and Second Installment Due Dates. Legal Description: Legal description of the property. Owner Name: Owner of record at the time bills were issued.
