E:Ann.Resolutions-Ordinances.Firemen RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION OF THE McLEAN COUNTY BOARD TO AGENCIES ASSISTING THE COUNTY WITH THE MARCH 31, 2014 COUNTY HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT FIRE WHEREAS, the McLean County Highway experienced a fire on March 31, 2014 in the North Garage Welding Shop; and, WHEREAS, the Bloomington Fire Department, Bloomington Township Fire Department, Cooksville Fire Department, Downs Fire Department, Lexington Fire Department, Normal Fire Department, and Towanda Fire Department responded and provided valuable assistance with the fire; and, WHEREAS; the MABAS 41 Team and Emergency Management Agency (EMA) provided needed resources and organizational management; and, WHEREAS, the Bloomington Police Traffic Control, and the Sheriff’s Department Traffic Control provided traffic control to the area surrounding the fire to keep traffic running smoothly; and, WHEREAS, the Red Cross and LaGondola Spaghetti House Restaurant provided refreshments to the responders; and now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED that the County Board of McLean County and the citizens of McLean County extend a grateful thank you to the Bloomington Fire Department, Bloomington Township Fire Department, Cooksville Fire Department, Downs Fire Department, Lexington Fire Department, Normal Fire Department, Towanda Fire Department, the MABAS 41 Team, Emergency Management Agency (EMA), Bloomington Police Traffic Control, the Sheriff’s Department Traffic Control, the Red Cross, and LaGondola Spaghetti House Restaurant.
