PUBLIC NOTICE QUALIFYING FEES FOR THE 2024 ELECTIONS Pursuant to O.C.G.A. 21-2-131(a)(1), the following qualifying fees were set by the Gordon County Board of Commissioners during their January 16, 2024 meeting: County Office Qualifying Fee County Commissioner District 1,3,5 $180.00 Sheriff $2,707.40 Clerk of Superior Court $2,259.82 Judge of Probate Court $2,259.82 Tax Commissioner $2,259.82 Judge of Magistrate Court $2,305.02 Coroner $360.00 County School Board Member Post 2,4,6 $36.00 Qualifying for the offices listed above will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, March 4, 2024 and will end at 12 Noon on Friday, March 8, 2024. The General Primary Election/Nonpartisan Election will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 and the General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
