A list of safety tips has been posted on the City of Fernley website at www.cityoffernley.org/safehalloween. Sheriff Veil asks parents to consider attending a carnival or festival offered by many schools and faith communities in your area like the City of Fernley Safe and Spooktacular Trick or Treat: The Lyon County and City of Fernley complex to turn into a Halloween playground! Spooktacular is back this year and will be better than ever, with a haunted house, trick-or- treating, bounce houses, face-painting and much more. As always admission and all activities are FREE thanks to our many sponsors and through generous donations made to the Arts & Culture Commission and the Lyon County Sheriff's Office Volunteers in Policing.
