Fernley, NV – September 29, 2006 – City leaders are proud to announce the debut of a brand new website for the City of Fernley. The purpose of the website is to give residents access to information on what’s going on with and in your city. The web address is www.cityoffernley.org. The easy to navigate design has many new features including news flashes, answers to frequently asked questions, document centers, archived records, many downloadable forms, calendar of events, bid and job postings with automatic notifications, e- notifications and more. The site includes e-commerce services allowing citizens to pay water/sewer bills on-line. Customers will essentially have 24/7 access to city information online. “I am confident that citizens will find the new website informative and useful,” said City Manager Gary Bacock. “The website, E-Commerce and E-News features in particular, affirms our commitment to customer service. With these new and innovative tools, staff will be able to respond to citizen requests more efficiently and effectively," said Bacock.
