CITY OF FERNLEY DATE ISSUED: 01/18/2006 SUBJECT: CITY LOGO POLICY FOR USE. SUMMARY: The CITY OF FERNLEY logo, all City of Fernley produced event and program logos, including the City of Fernley seal/logo, may not be used by persons who are not City of Fernley employees without explicit permission. Requests for use must be made in writing. Written permission and logo use guidelines must be obtained prior to use. Any questions or permission requests should be directed to: City of Fernley - City Manager’s Office. CITY POLICY: 1) The City of Fernley City Council, City departments, events and programs typically do not endorse or sponsor any commercial products, services, or activities. 2) The use of the City logo(s), name or initials (including any logos created for city programs and the city seal/logo) which would express or imply such endorsements is strictly prohibited. 3) The City does not permit the use of their logos on novelty or souvenir products not produced by the City and/or by City authorized vendors. 4) Permissions are typically denied for use in connection with the following: Advertising, marketing, promotional activities, fundraising, and political activities. 5) We reserve the right to refuse any request.
