The proclamation brings attention to the City of Fernley’s Animal Services mission of protecting pets. On Friday, June 23, 2005 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at the Fernley City Hall parking lot on Silver Lace Blvd, City Animal Services staff will be celebrating Canine Good Citizenship Day by inviting residents and their dogs to visit the Animal Services tent to license their pet and receive some treats. Licenses are good for one year and must be renewed annually. Presentation of a certificate of rabies vaccination is required. City of Fernley dog licenses are available at City Hall.
