ROLL CALL. There were no absences. 2. PUBLIC INPUT. Public comment is limited to five minutes per person. Items not agenized for this meeting cannot be acted upon other than to place them on future agendas. 3. REPORTS. This item is for various public entity representatives to provide general information to the Council and public. No action will be taken. 4. CONSENT AGENDA: (PLEASE NOTE: Action may be taken on all or some of the consent agenda items in one motion. Those items that are removed from the consent agenda will be addressed separately.) 4.A. ADDRESS PAYMENT OF VOUCHERS 4.B. ADDRESS APPROVAL OF MINUTES This item was APPROVED by a vote of 5-0-0 and included minutes from April 2, 2008. 5. ADDRESS PRESENTATION OF CITY MANAGER’S RECOMMENDED FY 08-09 BUDGET. NO action was taken on this item. City Treasurer/Finance Director Bonnie Duke and City Manager Gary Bacock presented the recommended fiscal year 2008-2009 budget to the Council. After which time each Councilmember asked questions and made recommendations for information to be addressed during the next budget workshop scheduled for Monday, April 28th at 4:00p.m. The Council requested more information on the following: Summary of the Residential Construction Tax Districts to Better Understand Previous Transactions, Better Explanation of the Consolidated Tax, Clarification on the Park Plan, Specifications for the Assistant to the City Manager and the GIS Specialist Positions, Review of the Lyon County Take- Away of the 7.77¢ Road Tax, Review of Costs for the Water Treatment Plant, Correction Sheet Listing Changes, and Information on an Intern Program. 6. ADDRESS REQUEST(S) FOR FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS. There was one request for a future agenda item: Discussion on Fernley’s Request for Federal Lands (Fernley Lands Bill) 7. ADJOURNMENT. The meeting ADJOURNED at 8:13 p.m. by a vote of 5-0-0.
