Wednesday, April 30, 2014 Dear Farmington Indian Center Market Vendor: The 13th Annual Indian Market and Festival is scheduled for, Friday and Saturday, August 1 & 2, 2014, in Farmington, New Mexico! This year the market will be held during the opening weekend of the 2014 Connie Mack World Series, a great time to show your work and our culture. In keeping with the standard of presenting only arts and crafts of excellent quality and workmanship, all artists will apply and will be selected to participate. The Farmington Indian Center (FIC) has designated market coordinators whose assignment will be 1) to evaluate each application that is received to ensure that quality standards established by FIC are met relative to the product being represented with each artist; 2) at the time of the show, monitor booths for quality of work as represented in each applicant’s application. The market coordinators on behalf of FIC reserve the right to refuse any application once an application is presented. Every item for sale at your booth must be produced by the registered artist(s). Work must be at least fifty percent (50%) handmade or handcrafted. The market coordinators and the FIC administration reserve the right to have items removed from sale if they do not meet show standards. In addition, no food items of any kind may be sold at your booth. All food sales require a food vendor fee, and a food vendor application with documentation, which adheres to food vending standards. For your work to be adjudged, please provide photographs, and/or samples of your work to the FIC address no later than, WEDNESDAY, JULY 30, 2014, to avoid a late registration fee of $25.00. Vending fees for applications received after, Thursday July 31st will be charged the $25.00 late fee. You must also complete the attached Vendor Application (5 pages) provided. Photographs of your work must be received with your registration, unless otherwise advised. Emailed photos or information from your website are acceptable. Artists utilizing coupons from the 2013 Totah Festival must submit their original coupon to redeem their discount (late registration fee will apply).
