Engineering Plat Check List In addition to planning checklists Engineering shall check for the following: Correct legal description (check closure) All existing utilities are shown on plat. The basis of bearing used in survey A description of all monuments found or set Name and widths of adjoining streets and alleys. Fire Hydrant Locations (if not shown on plat, required on Plan & Profiles) A Reference List comprised of all deeds or plats used The location and description of ALL easements known or disclosed to the surveyor which cross adjoin or serve the surveyed tract with the recording data. The Location and description of any structures which encroach into a recorded easement. The radius, central angle, length and chord dimensions of all curves. Lines of all proposed streets and alleys with their width and names. All dimensions, both linear and angular, necessary for locating the boundaries of the subdivision, lots, streets, alleys, easements, and other areas for public or private use. Linear dimensions are to be given to the nearest 1/100 foot. Accurate outline of any portions of the property intended to be dedicated or granted for public use. A benchmark elevation referenced from City of Farmington GPS monument, including Northing & Easting on one corner of surveyed lot. Tied into the Farmington GIS Grid System (in Farmington or within ½ mile) Electronic File Auto CAD .dwg A separate drawing showing existing site conditions, including driveways, building footprints, location of septic systems (including leach fields), etc. The boundary of the tract being surveyed including the dimensions as measured on the ground and the record dimensions unless the two are equivalent. All dimensions which pertain to the restoration of a lost corner or subdivision of a section. Final Plat Only As Builts & Improvements Completed Or Signed Improvement Agreement
