SPOTLIGHT ON LEISURE: As spring gets closer and the weather starts warming up, consider the benefits of being more physically active. You might have greater energy and stamina. You may even reduce your chances for developing diseases, such as depression, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, obesity, stroke, and some kinds of cancer. Aim for at least 2½ hours each week of moderate-intensity physical activity. Try it! Choose activities you enjoy, such as swimming, walking fast, dancing, and even yard work.
