Mail in registration should be mailed to Road Apple Rally, 901 Fairgrounds Rd., Farmington, New Mexico 87401. Race and includes T-shirt and lunch. All entrants in the cross-country race will be required to show proof of USA Cycling license at packet pickup. LATE REGISTRATION There is NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION. Participants registering for the race will have to pay a $15.00 late fee to register in person on October 3, 2013. No faxed or scanned entries will be accepted. FARMINGTON, NEW MEXICO The Oldest Continuously Run Mountain Bike Race in the United States 32ND Schedule Start Times: Beginner (Category 3) 8:30 a.m. Pro 8:45 a.m. Expert-(Category 1) 8:45 a.m. Sport (Category 2) 8:45 a.m. Single Speed (Sport-Category 2) 8:45 a.m. 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. lunch is served by Clancy’s Irish Cantina. The awards ceremony will be held when all participants have either crossed the finish line or have otherwise been accounted for. THANKS TO OUR SPONSORS ---PAGE BREAK--- EARLY PACKET PICKUP Early packet pickup will be from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2013 at the Farmington Recreation Center, at 1101 Fairgrounds Rd. Waivers will need to be signed at packet pickup. Participants under the age of 18 MUST have a parent or guardian present at packet pickup. RACE DAY PACKET PICKUP Race day packet pickup will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2013 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. at Lions Wilderness Park Amphitheater at 5800 College Blvd. Races will start at 8:30 a.m., sharp. THERE IS NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION. CROSS-COUNTRY RACE This course are approximately 15 and 30 mile loops starting and finishing at Lions Wilderness Park Amphitheater. The amphitheater can be reached by turning north at the junction of Pinon Hills Blvd. and College Blvd. and following the signs to the amphitheater. The majority of the course is single track joined with sections of dirt and paved roads. ALL CATEGORY 3 Riders WILL RIDE THE SHORT LOOP APPROXIMATELY 15 MILES, AND ALL OTHERS WILL RIDE THE LONG COURSE, APPROXIMATELY 30 MILES. PRIZES Cash prizes will be awarded in the Pro and Expert overall Category only. Prizes will be awarded to all other categories. SUPPORT: No outside support is allowed. Accepting mechanical or physical support may result in disqualification. EQUIPMENT: Approved helmets must be worn at all times. Bikes must be walked in the registration area. USA Cycling: This is a USA Cycling sanctioned event. All participants will be required to show proof of USA Cycling license. Entrants without a USA Cycling license will be able to purchase a one day license with their registration. One day licenses will have to be completed prior to packet pickup. ALL PRO and CATEGORY 1 RIDERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO HAVE AN ANNUAL LICENSE. Annual licenses can be purchased.
