PUBLIC NOTICE The Farmington MPO (FMPO) is advertising Amendment #11 with an update in red, to the FFY2014- 2019 Transportation Improvement Program which amends two projects as follows: Amended Projects Project Name: US 64 Phase V Control Number: F100112 Project Description: CP-91 Widen to 6 Lanes Project Termini: MP 56 to MP 58 Lead Agency: NMDOT Functional Classification: Principal Arterial (Other) Funding Source STP Flex & NHPP Funding Action: Decrease Funding (NHPP) by $3,525,285 Fiscal Year FY2018 Total Project Cost: $13,224,714 Project Name: San Juan Blvd/Scott Ave Intersection Control Number: F100200 Project Description: Traffic Signal Reconstruction Project Termini: Intersection of San Juan Blvd and Scott Ave. Lead Agency: City of Farmington Functional Classification: Urban Minor Arterial Funding Source HSIP, State Funds & Local Non-Match Funds Funding Actions: Add $59,900 (Local Non-Match) for PE Add $70,000 (Local Non-Match) for Construction Fiscal Year FY2015 Total Project Cost: $504,900 As required by federal law and the Farmington MPO Public Participation Plan, the FMPO is holding a 30-day Public Comment period and Public Hearing on Amendment #11. The 30-day comment period will open on Sunday April 26, 2015 and run to May 26, 2015. This public comment period meets all of the applicable requirements of the federal transportation bill MAP-21 and the federal transit requirements of Section 5307(c) The public may also make comments on the proposed amendments at the following meeting: Public Hearing: During the Farmington MPO Technical Committee meeting at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2015 in the San Juan County Administrative Building, 100 S Oliver St, Aztec, New Mexico 87410.
