The Recreation Center is a division of the Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Affairs Department. So gather your family and friends and come to the Recreation Center for a fun evening of Bingo and Pizza! There will be fun prizes for the lucky winners throughout the evening. We have the courts so all you need to do is grab a partner for a game of racquetball or gather some friends for a fun game of Wallyball! When you love your workout, results come easily. That’s why Jazzercise blends aerobics, yoga, Pilates, and kickboxing movements into fun dance routines set to fresh music. All fi tness levels are welcome! Only $33 per month for unlimited classes. Come try it out - 1st class is free! www.jazzercise.com SPECIAL PROGRAMS, CLASSES & WORKSHOPS Racquetball Courts The Farmington Recreation Center offers fi ve courts available for hourly reservations Monday through Saturday. Court reservations can be made by calling 599- 1184. Proper court shoes must be worn and eye guards are recommended when playing racquetball. Racquets are available for rent at $1.00 per racquet and eye guards are available free of charge. Court Fees: $3.00 per person per hour Wallyball Wallyball is a game played much like volleyball but on a racquetball court. The equipment is available at the Recreation Center. Only 3 of the racquetball courts are designed for Wallyball, so please specify “Wallyball” when reserving a court. Fees: $2.00 per person per hour Gym Fall Open Gym Hours Monday-Friday: Varies, check at the front desk! Saturday: 11am to 1:30pm Basketball 1:30 to 4:00pm Volleyball Fee: $1.00 per person Walking Monday-Friday: 12 to 1pm Shuffl eboard & Ping Pong for Seniors Tuesday & Thursday: 10am to 12pm Fall Adult Sports For information regarding Adult Volleyball, Basketball, and Soccer Leagues this fall and winter, contact the Recreation Center at 599-1184 K I C K B LL A C O E D Adult Division Players 18 & older October 11 & 12, 2013 Only $40 to register a team! The routines feature interval-training sessions where fast and slow and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. The event will be held at Orchard Park on Main Street and feature a 5K Turkey Trot and 2 Mile Gobble Wobble walk. Electronic chip timing for the 5K will be provided by Chasing 3. Date: Saturday, November 23, 2013 Time: 9:00 am Fee: $20.00 (includes lunch and a t-shirt) REINDEER ROMP & NORTH POLE STROLL Get in the holiday spirit and come to Farmington’s Reindeer Romp! This event will be held at Orchard Park on Main Street and feature a 5K run, a 2-mile fun run/walk, refreshments, and lots of holiday fun! Gather your family and friends, put on your antlers, and join the fun! Date: Saturday, December 21, 2013 Time: 3:30 BOO-PALOOZA! A family friendly event on Main Street in Downtown Farmington! Trick or Treat on Main Street from 4 to 5:30pm, play in our Carnival of Candy from 4 to 6pm, join our Monster Mash Dance from 5 to 7pm with a Live DJ in Orchard Park, and enter our Costume Contest and Pet Parade on the Main Stage on North Orchard (sign up by 5pm to participate!).
