2015 Water and Sewer Mainline Extension Fees Mainline Current Fees Water 8” $27.92 Sewer 8” $27.95 The effective date of this change will be February 1, 2015. Section 26-5-2 of the City Code requires an annual adjustment of the water and sewer mainline extension fees charged by the City’s Water and Wastewater Utility. The adjustment is to be made in accordance with the City’s Water and Sewer Mainline Extension Fee Policy, which was adopted under Resolution 98-908. That resolution provides that the annual adjustment of the fees shall be made in accordance with the procedures specified in the policy. Section 3 € of the Policy states that the water and sewer mainline extension fees shall be reviewed and updated annually by the Public Works Director and approved by the City Manager. The Mainline extension fees shall be adjusted to correspond to the current costs under the Annual Utility Maintenance Contract, but in no case shall the fee be increased more than 10% in any given year, unless approved by the City Council.
