With fall nearly here we can look forward to some cooler weather. We enjoy the foods that fall brings such as green chili and apples. According to Natural News (2010) eating at least one different colored fruit and vegetable with each meal can help you feel better, live longer and decrease your risk of stroke by 14% and many different forms of cancer with each serving of fruit and vegetables that you eat. When you eat at the senior center you can always count on a good variety of vegetables. Recipe for Corn Salsa To help ensure you get plenty of variety here is a recipe for fresh corn salsa to enjoy with dinner or by itself with chips:  2 ears of corn shucked and cleaned  2 limes juiced  2 fresh tomatoes diced  2 Avocados diced  2 green chili’s diced  1 bunch of cilantro chopped Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and stir thoroughly combining.
