(505) 599-1380 ---PAGE BREAK--- I, Larry Bomberger, Senior Citizens Administrator, would like to welcome you to the Bonnie Dallas Senior Campus. Whether this is your first time visiting or you have enjoyed our programming for years I wish to thank you for your patronage. I have had the wonderful pleasure of serving the senior community for the past 26 years. My vocation has become my passion, and I find my employment to be extremely enriching and rewarding. I fondly tell the public that I do not work with old people, but people who have been younger longer than me – for we all strive to be young at heart. Our campus is owned and operated by the City of Farmington, and over my tenure we have grown our programs which now encompass 4 separate buildings: 1. Main Center: the home of our nutrition program (kitchen and dining room), administrative offices, as well as our billiards room. 2. Ceramic Shop: we hold classes and kiln fire the products. 3. Annex: this is our meeting room facility, where we host trainings such as Defensive Driving Classes, Tax-Aide Assistance, Medicare Part D workshops, club meetings and classes. 4. Activity Center: this facility is comprised of 4 large rooms one of them housing our Silver Fitness Center. All of our exercise offerings take place in this facility as well as our larger class programs. We are firm believers in “motion is lotion” and “use it or lose it”. So join in on one of our exercise programs! The Bonnie Dallas Senior Center provides senior citizens in the area, a place to eat a nutritious meal, socialize, learn, play, and feel valued. It is a “Home away from Home” where the staff truly cares and gives great customer service. I am extremely blessed to be surrounded by a wonderful staff and volunteers, who offer a variety of skills and are trained and equipped to be of service to each of you. I trust that through our program offerings, information, referral, and counseling, we can provide hope, encouragement, and support. Please take the time to review our Center Spotlight, I am certain you will find fulfillment in getting involved, whether as a participant or volunteer. God Bless Each of You, “A Friendly Place Where Friends Meet Friends” Our Senior Center does not have a membership fee; we do have a client assessment interview that you must complete to participate in our nutrition program.
