(Program is only available within city limits) • Keep in mind the needs of the elderly during this study • Overlay demographics and employment growth with routes as a way to identify future stops Group Exercise Comments • Stops needed at: o 30 th Street/Farmington Medical Center o Sycamore Center o Wildhorse Valley o Mesa Meszano areas along US 64 o LaPlata Hwy o LaPlata Ranch development (Pinon Hills Blvd north of Sports Complex) o Upcoming new San Juan Center for Independence building on San Juan Blvd o Upcoming new BLM office at College/Sandalwood intersection o Areas around Pinon Hills Blvd/Foothills o San Juan College Kirtland campus o CR 350/CR390 o E. Main out to Country Club o East Blanco Blvd in Bloomfield o More stops on both sides of US 64 west of Farmington System Comments • Need longer evening hours • Limited Sunday service needed • Loop routes take a long time • Bus routes that cross each other i.e. both north and south east and west routes. • A passenger could end up spending 4 extra hours if he misses the regional route • Need to have the ability to make a ‘stop by request’ to bridge the gaps between existing stops • Coordinate stops on the regional routes to those on the Farmington routes for better connectivity • Consider regional service for connections to Colorado and Navajo Nation
