Subdivision & Plat Submittals Review Check list Plat Name: Planner: Date Received: Date Due: UDC Section 8.1.3 Minimum submission requirements: A completed COF petition application form. Property owner endorsement. All applications shall include the name and signature of the current property owner of all property within the boundaries. Certification by title company (see UDC 8.1.7 for applicability). All applications requiring public notice and hearing shall be accompanied by and include certification by a title company. Such certification shall include a list of all property owners within the subject property and within 100 feet thereof, excluding public rights-of-way, certified by a title company as accurate and as having been compiled within the 30 days before the application is submitted. Correct fee payment. Vicinity map (A vicinity map [which may be a USGS one inch equals 2,000 feet scale] shall locate the property relative to surrounding areas). Specified number of application copies (All submittals that include plats or site plans shall also include a reduced plat or plan [8½" by 11"] along with the required full size drawings). A separate topographic map showing contours. ( 5’ Contours) Note that the Community Development Director has the authority to request any pertinent information required to ensure compliance with the UDC. Additional Check List Items (12. 8.2 NMAC) Name and Registration Number of Responsible Surveyor Address and phone number of responsible surveyor Certification over the professional surveyor’s signature stating that the Surveyor conducted, and is responsible for the survey and that the survey meets the Minimum Standards for Land Surveyors in New Mexico. Date of Field Work. ---PAGE BREAK--- A Title which shall include at least the following: The city, county, and state The lot, block, or tract number, if within an existing subdivision The section(s), township(s) and range(s) in which the surveyed tract is located. Check Street name & Subdivision name for Unique Naming A letter or number providing a unique designation of each surveyed tract. Total acreage of the proposed subdivision. The area of each tract. The lot number, tract number, other designation of the apparent owner of all adjoining tracts with the recording data of the last recorded plat. Is legal access clear and well defined on submittal. This checklist is a preliminary check for accuracy. There may be further corrections that will be identified and may need to be corrected.
