Court reservations can be made by calling 599- 1184. Proper court shoes must be worn and eye guards are recommended when playing racquetball. Racquets are available for rent at $1.00 per racquet and eye guards are available free of charge. Court Fees: $3.00 per person per hour Wallyball Wallyball is a game played much like volleyball but on a racquetball court. The equipment is available at the Recreation Center. Only 3 of the racquetball courts are designed for Wallyball, so please specify “Wallyball” when reserving a court. Fees: $2.00 per person per hour Gym Want to just shoot some baskets or play in a quick pick up basketball game? Check out the Recreation Center’s open gym hours at the front desk! It’s the Recreation Center’s 2013 UNO Tournament!! It’s the game everyone loves to play! Drinks and snacks will be available for all players during the tournament. This is an intergenerational tournament, but to be eligible, you must be at least 7 years old and already know the basic rules of the game so that you can play independently! Specific rules to the tournament will be provided. Register early for your place at the table. Date: Saturday, February 23, 2013 (Registration ends Friday, February 22) Time: 6:00pm Fee: $5.00 per person SPRING FLING No plans for Spring Break?? Come join the Farmington Recreation Center and the Farmington Aquatic Center for a week filled with fun including outdoor activities and games, swimming, crafts, and fieldtrips. Space is limited, so sign up early on-line at www.fmtn.org/prca, or visit the Farmington Aquatic Center or Recreation Center. Registration opens February 1 for this popular event. Ages: 6-12 Date: March 11 - March 15, 2013 Time: 8:00am to 5:00pm Fee: $75 per child FUNNY BUNNY FEST It’s Spring and time to hop on over to the Farmington Recreation center for our annual Funny Bunny Fest! Join us for games, activities, and all sorts of Spring-time fun. Plus, there will be a special visit from the Funny Bunny! Ages: All Date: Saturday, March 23, 2013 Time: 10:00am to Noon Fee: Free TWEEN TWILIGHT EGG HUNT Join the Recreation Center for our twilight egg hunt for tweens! All participants must be pre-registered by Noon on Friday, March 22. Participants need to bring their own flashlight for this event. The hunt will be held outside at the Fairgrounds Softball Field #2 (located right next to the Recreation Center). Prizes of all sorts, including candy, movie passes, iTunes cards, and more, will be hidden in the eggs! After the hunt, stick around for games and snacks. Ages: 10-13 Date: Saturday, March 23, 2013 Time: 8:00pm to 9:30pm Fee: $5:00 FAMILY AND PIZZA NIGHT Bring the whole family to the Recreation Center for a fun evening of Bingo and Pizza! There will be fun prizes for the lucky winners. This event is so much fun we are offering it twice this Spring! Ages: All Date: Friday, February 1, 2013 (Register by Jan. 31) Friday, April 19, 2013 (Register by April 18) Time: 6:30pm to 8:30pm Fee: $5.00 per person 2013 RIVERFEST 10K & 5k RUNS, 2-MILE WALK Start and finish in beautiful Animas Park during Riverfest!
