N E W S R E L E A S E FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE June 5, 2015 Contact: Meghan Pembroke, communications director, [PHONE REDACTED] Team up with dad for wiffle ball fun on Father’s Day EVERETT – Give dad the gift of quality bonding time this year by playing in Everett Parks & Recreation’s Father’s Day Wiffleball Challenge, Saturday, June 21, from 1:30-4:30 p.m. “One of the best parts of being a father is getting out and playing with your kids,” said Jeremy Oshie, athletics supervisor for Everett Parks & Recreation. “What better place to celebrate Father’s Day than on the ball field?” Dads and their children, ages 10 and older, can expect to spend the afternoon laughing, batting, pitching, catching and running together in four-on-four play at the Phil Johnson Ballfields. Sign up as a father-child pair, or as a team of two youth and two adults. Chose one of three divisions based on the child’s age: 10-12, 13-15, 16 and older.
