Did you know: Fixing a toilet leak conserves water and saves money. ---PAGE BREAK--- Use this dye kit to detect a toilet leak. For additional leak detection kits, contact your local water provider. For additional resources, visit savingwater.org DIRECTIONS: 1. Remove the tank cover, drop ONE dye strip or tab into the toilet tank. 2. DO NOT FLUSH. 3. Wait 20 minutes. 4. If the water in the bowl remains clear, no leaks have been detected. If the water in the bowl turns blue, there is a leak in the tank. The repair may be a simple one. Take steps to repair the leak yourself or contact a licensed plumber. Use the attached dye kit to detect a toilet leak. Water conservation begins with you. Water – Use it Wisely.
