The Senior Center has added new veterans since the last photo shoot, which took place in 2011, and Senior Center Director Debra Loughrey-Johnson feels it is important to honor them this year. The finished product will be displayed at the 10th annual USO dance on Veterans’ Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11. Loughrey-Johnson, who organized this event, wanted a way to celebrate those community members who have served our country. “We are so proud and appreciative of the veterans, both at our center, and in our community who have served our country,” Loughrey-Johnson said. “We want to take any opportunity that we can to recognize their service.” The Senior Center also wants to honor any women veterans who served, and invite them to join in on the photo opportunity as well. Attendees are welcome to wear their military uniforms. For any questions regarding the photo shoot, please call [PHONE REDACTED]. Guests may call and reserve their USO dance tickets after Oct. 10, and pick up within 5 days of request. Tickets are required for admission and the attendance is limited to 400 guests
