N E W S R E L E A S E FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE April 30, 2015 Contact: Meghan Pembroke, communications director, [PHONE REDACTED] Learn how to tackle a fish Annual event shows kids the basics of fishing EVERETT –Everett Parks & Recreation and the Everett Steelhead & Salmon Club invite children, ages 4-14, to learn the basics of catching fish at the annual Kids Fish-In on Saturday, May 9, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Expert guides will be on hand to help up to 600 kids discover the fun of fishing. “To watch the joy of delight on a young person’s face when they catch their first fish is, as they say, priceless,” said Parks Ranger Barry Martin. Participants can bring their own rods, reels and tackle to Thornton A. Sullivan Park at Silver Lake, 11405 W. Silver Lake Rd., Everett, and discover the fun of fishing.
