CITY OF EL CERRITO PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE RFP Q & A To: All Proposers April 15, 2015 The following are answers to questions received regarding the RFP for Landscape Maintenance Services that was posted April 13, 2015 on the City of El Cerrito website at http://www.el- cerrito.org/bids.aspx?bidID=27 . Questions: 1. Is the square footage of the planter and turf areas available for each site? Answer: Attached is the spreadsheet of Bundle A- Turf Intensive Landscapes, with the “acre” column amended to also provide the approximate square footage of turf on each site. Due to the quantity of sites, it is not possible at this time for the City to provide the square footage of non-turf planter areas for all facilities. 2. Why is the turnaround time to bid so short? Answer: The City acknowledges the proposal turn-around time is short and, thus, will be extending the deadline until Tuesday May 12, 3 PM.
