You can now put food scraps and food-soiled paper in the green cart along with your yard trimmings. We’ve started collecting food scraps so they can be composted instead of buried in a landfill. There are many benefits to this program. By participating you will help El Cerrito reduce waste and greenhouse gas emissions. Call (510) 215-4350 to schedule delivery. Paper Use paper bags or newspaper to line your food scrap pail.
