GET OUTSIDE, BE ACTIVE & ENJOY EL CERRITO Sunday, April 29, 2012 11:00AM to 3:00PM THE STREET WILL BE CLOSED TO TRAFFIC…AND OPEN FOR FUN ! WHERE? The intersection of Key Boulevard and Conlon Avenue in EL CERRITO (near Baxter Creek and 2 blocks north of the del Norte BART station) GAMES: Streetball, chess, hopscotch, hula-hoops ENTERTAINMENT: live music, juggling, taiko (drumming), dancing ACTIVITIES: bubbles, origami, chalk art, strolling, car-free bike zone Make a paper lantern and join in a Dragon Parade! Drop in demonstrations, and more! JOIN IN THE FUN! Bring a picnic blanket and your lunch. NO ALCOHOL. B.Y.O.F. (bring-your-own-fun) i.e. bike, scooter, rollerblades, skateboard,hula hoop, sketch-book, musical instrument, etc. STREET PLAY is a safe, car-free place for all ages to get outside, be active & have fun.
