The Ohlone Greenway has a wildflower section that begins at Key Blvd and Conlon St then extends southward for about 1/2 block. This area is planted and cared for by Gil Patchett and is marked by signs. "The wildflowers are all Natives of Planet Earth and bloom in sequence throughout the Winter and Spring months sustained only with natural rainfall. El Cerrito has the most ideal weather for this great variety of wildflowers and can rarely be duplicated in any other known area."
