Send via email, April 20, 2014 Dear Suzanne, The new works I am proposing for the El Cerrito City Hall are more recent than images I originally sent for consideration, but more important, I had not seen the space before I sent my proposal. On being accepted I stopped by to see the space and realized those paintings were way too big and needed more back-up space than the mezzanine affords. One of the paintings I proposed has been sold, and another that might fit in the space has actual barbed wire attached and might not be appropriate for a public space. One of the original pieces I proposed, “Sparrows in Bamboo” will probably still fit in the space and might make a nice anchor for the black and white prints. The black and white prints have a historic feel that might interest your audience and some of the subject matter relates to the agricultural history, of our area and refers to the immigrant past of many of our citizens. I am very excited about this new work and would love to be able to share it with visitors to El Cerrito City Hall. Thanks for your consideration. Sincerely, Robbin Legere Henderson ---PAGE BREAK--- samples of the new work: ---PAGE BREAK---
