El Cerrito/Kensington CERT Save the Date Saturday August 29 10:00 am- 11:00 am Earthquake Drill All Neighbors Participate! This is a city wide earthquake drill for Kensington and El Cerrito. This very simple, very short, drill will focus on gathering at our Disaster Meeting Spot, and practicing checking in. If this were a real disaster, you could then choose to volunteer to assist CERT members, so we will also practice assigning volunteers on the spot to rescue teams. At a future drill we will practice actually doing search and rescue, fire suppression, and medical assistance. But this drill is only for practicing organizing whoever is available without advanced preparation. More information to come.
