Agenda Item No. 4 ---PAGE BREAK--- Communities receiving these awards showed the biggest improvement in service ratings and/or had the highest rated services according to a representative sample of their own residents. Nationwide, 16 communities received Awards for 2012. ---PAGE BREAK--- NCS is a collaborative effort between National Research Center and the International City/County Management Association (ICMA). NCS is a statistically valid survey of resident opinions about community and services. 2012 was the fourth citizen survey the City has conducted through NCS.
